WHATS THE RIGHT SHAFT!?

THERES SO MANY SHAFTS AND SUCH A HUGE PROCE RANGE, WHAT DO I DO????

hello freinds. my name is nick and im wondering what kind of shaft to put in "i dont know" for a head....

im not really sure what kind of head im looking for yet... tried the 907 d1, liked it, tried the nike SQ sumo square head, liked it even more..... although i didnt hit them as far as i could my 905s, they went very straight.

im not sure my exact swing speed, but my ball speed is consistantly around 160. my shaft delflection is high, both at the top of my swing and at impact and my tempo is medium-high.

Im looking for a very flat-low-medium trajectory that rolls like hell when it hits the ground!

If you are looking for something that rolls like hell when it hits the ground then look for a shaft with a HIGH bend point. This will minimize the spin and give you a lower overall trajectory that should help the ball run when it hits the ground. Just make sure you pair the shaft with a head that launches the ball high enough so you are not completely robbing yourself of distance.

^^^^Unfortunately, that's an overgeneralization. Because by adding loft to compensate for the high bend point, he also adds way more backspin, which means it flies higher, comes down softer with more spin and therefore less roll.

With today's low spinning drivers heads even with loft as high as 9.5* the spin will be low enough to where a high bend point shaft would give him more roll than say a mid bend point shaft...that's the point I was trying to make...

Yes, a high bend shaft will give him more roll everything else being equal, but that doesn't mean that that is the right shaft/loft combo for him to maximize distance.
