Fun Golf Loses Position on Course

Hi All,

I am using FunGolf with my iPhone 8 (iOS 11.2.2) and Apple Watch Series 3 LTE (Watch OS 4.2).

If I attempt to change a score on a previously played hole, FunGolf loses hole position. For example, I was recently playing on hole 14 when I discovered an error on hole 11. In the iPhone I adjusted the score on Hole 11. After that, I was no longer able to get the iPhone or the Watch to maintain my current hole being played position.

Does anyone else have this problem or know how to correct.

Incidentally, I have written to the developer of FunGolf on three separate occasions over the past couple of months to help me solve this problem. They claim to have 48 hour response policy. However, I have never heard back from them.

I don't use the scoring function so am not sure but you may want to select the "Hole Tracking" option via the iPhone app under "FunGolf Watch".

Hi Scott,

Tracking for the Watch is on. Tracking is fine until I attempt to go back and change a score. Then, tracking is lost on both the Watch and iPhone. I can select the hole being played, but after a few moments it goes back to hole where I adjusted the score.

Well Don, I'd say in your case, try not to make errors in entering your score in the first place!

JK. I don't own this model, but know where you're coming from with Tech not working as expected. Have you contacted manufacture? I had an issue with Garmin S20 right after they came out and CS was great, got things sorted out within a few weeks and kept me in the loop with each step.

Hmm, I used Fun Golf with iPhone 7 and AW2 last season, and I've not had that happen. I did keep score with the app when playing. I have moved to the iPhone X and keep the AW2, but I've not played any rounds yet with this config... This would likely be closer to your iPhone 8 and AW3 scenario... I'll come back if I see the issue...
