What a difference a day makes! Creamer has maintained her lead, Sorenstam is making progress, but a host of others aren't fairing quite so well. By the scorecard, the Crossings Course under normal conditions from the orange tees plays to roughly 6,500 yds with a slope and ratings of 78.3/140. Naturally, the tournament committee has set the tees all over the place -- forward AND back. There are definitely some tough holes. Morgan managed a quadruple bogie 8 yesterday to finish 10+. Then check out Meg Mallon, who seemed to be back in form and among the leaders shot 10+ today, but remains at even for the tournament. It will be very interesting to watch the telecasts this weekend to see which of the players can demonstrate the control and ball striking necessary to tame this beast. It may look ragged, but it certainly shows that these ladies can play!

TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Professional Paula Creamer Wins The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions Creamer Uses TaylorMade r7 SuperQuad to Register Wire-to-Wire Victory for Second Time this Season

CARLSBAD, Calif. (November 12, 2007) – TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff professional Paula Creamer recorded her fourth career victory and her second wire-to-wire victory of the season at The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions after posting a 20-under-par (67-65-68-68=268).   Creamer finished eight strokes better than the rest of the field for the convincing victory. On Thursday, Creamer posted seven straight birdies to close out her seven-under 65. "I played good this week and gave myself a lot of chances," said Creamer. "I stayed really confident with myself, and I believed I could do it. I feel really confident, and I would love to take this momentum into next week with one left."   Using her TaylorMade r7® SuperQuad™ driver, Creamer nailed 49 out of 56 fairways (87.5%) and relied heavily on her Rossa® Suzuka CGB putter with AGSI®+ Technology to keep her bogey-free for an LPGA season-best 62 straight holes.*   Creamer's win marked the 12th time in the 2007 LPGA season that a TaylorMade driver was used to win a tournament.
