Callaway X-20 vs X-18 Differences????

Should I save money?

Should I save money and get the Callaway X-18 irons? Are they just as forgiving, easy to hit, feel as good, ball flight the same, etc.... Are the shafts the same? Would appreciate the input!!!!

They would be more forgiving than the X-20's, easier to hit, feel... maybe as good I'm not quite sure, and the X-18's might launch a little higher. The stock shafts in the X-20's are flighted project X, as for the X-18's, I'm thinking probably just a stock Callaway shaft.

Overall the X-18's are easier to hit, but you can hit fades and draws as easily compared to the X-20's.

[b]EDIT[/b]: Sorry, I was thinking X-20 TOUR's. I would say the regular X-18's vs the regular X-20's wouldn't be much. Get fitted to see which ones you hit better.

There's no significant difference between those two, except the shafts and the price.

There are only slight differences between the two clubs.

The X20's have a slightly sweeter feel then the X18's, with the X18's probably giving a touch more feedback as to where you are hitting them on the face.

In terms of the technical differences, the X20 has a little bit thicker top line, little bit more offset, more pronounced heel and toe weighting and a face thickness progression which is thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top (thus putting more weight in the bottom of the club). All in all the X20's would generally be rated as being a slightly more forgiving club, but at the end of the day it will come down to whether or not the X20's feel $x better then the X18's, which is unfortunately something that only you will be able to tell.
