Hi Guy's
I have just started to download to Youtube a bunch of Steve elkington swings from the 1995 PGA.1997 Players and the 1997 Doral Ryder open where Steve won all three titles. I am also doing some really rare footage from the 1992 Australian Open which he won as well.
Also I am downloading tones of footage of other playrs as well to help you guy's out and if someone has a special request for a player I will do my best to download it as well.

great stuff addam. is that 9 iron, like, 5 degrees flat!! his hands are just comfortably at his knees at address. i've never noticed that in his swing before.

That would of def stirred some trouble in my HS (Glendora) back in the day cuz of the inter coastal war between Bad Boy Entertainment (owned by Puff Daddy) and Death Row Records (NWA). Everyone in the Valley was all about "West-Side" ....NWA(Ice Cube, Eazy-E, and Dr. Dre), Snoop, Coolio, Mack 10, Warren-G,...etc...etc..of course I was just a dork on the golf team trying to act cool....and it wasn't the coolest sport yet....heck Tiger was wearing 10-gallon hats w/ wide striped shirts & short shorts

Elk was too steep in 93, after some work he felt like he took it way inside and won the PGA. The greens were bad that year at Riv...

i was watching some footage of a best of golf from the 70's 80's and early nineties... could not believe how low to the ground a lot of guys had their hands... really bent over and hands around knee level with really flat clubs..

oops, it was an 8 iron. i had watched it with the sound off. back in the day, that swing was THE model on the tour, at least when you listened to the announcers, and i'm not saying it isn't great, but i see it a bit differently today. those hands are just too low for my liking. still, he's the major winner,....

Elks hands are about 3 inches longer than mine when we stand next to eachother. Im 6'2. He is about the same if I can recall..

A very Dear friend to me and my swing fixer is a gentleman by the name of Douglas J canty. Now Doug has worked with elk for many many years.
He was the Head Pro at port kembla golf club for 40 years and worked with elk and his brother rob from when they where in there teens. Doug is one of the closest people to Elk, Today I spoke with doug and he is going to give me some footage of elk from years ago that I will post. He also has many pics.
One thing he did say is when you are 6'2 and have arms like a monkey your hands will sit low to the ground.
I am also in the process of posting a great story of Doug and Elk and many things that happened over the years between them two and beleive me it has such funny things over the years.
I have added a few pics of doug and a letter that he received from Elk.

thanks for the seve swings on youtube, brings back memories, those were confident fullbore swings, except the 16th tee shot, of course after the swing on 15 who wouldn't be steering it.
