Axis1 Putter Users - Which putter grip model do you use?

For those that use an Axis1 putter. Which putter grip model do you use?

very interested in this question too ; the original grip seems too thin for me .

Does the grip affect the balance on these like it does on the LAB putters? Or can you use any grip you like?

You can use any grip on them.  The balance is not changed.

Yeah I agree. Every time I tried them in a PGA SS I came away thinking that the Deep Etched wasn't a good fit for the Rose1 putter. At least for me.

What about shortening the shaft 1 inch? I need a 34” and found a reasonable deal on a 35”, can an inch be cut off without affecting balance?

Just received my Axis1 Tour HM, wholly molly this thing rolls! Love it! It came with a superstroke tour 2.0, which I don’t mind at all, but it’s just a hair or two off center, so I plan to eventually change it (and possibly shorten putter by an inch), I’m thinking about going with the Garsen Quad Tour non-tapered. Hopeing more people respond in this thread to get additional ideas.

OEM headcover is dissapointing (velcro?). Anybody have any cool aftermarket recommendations?

I’ve ordered Garsen Quad Tour non tapered, Garsen Max, Garsen Max Tour, Jumbomax ST/1.2, and Jumbomax ST/1.3 from Amazon, only 1 will survive. Based on reviews, I’m leaning towards Garsen Max’s, we’ll see.

Not that anyone’s following along, but I’ve eliminated Garsen Max’s and Quad Tour (Max unfortunately had my right had fingers running into my left hand thumb (I use a standard grip style), Quad Tour was too small for what I want on this putter, but would definitely consider adding to my Ping Anser 3). 

 

In addition, I’ve ordered Lamkin Sink Fit Claw (waiting on), SuperStroke Tour 3.0 (delivered, like), and Garsen Ultimate (waiting on). Also comparing to my Winn Vision 2020 Jumbolite (on my 2-Ball w/ microhinge). And still waiting on Jumobomax’s.

 

Currently Superstroke 3.0 and Winn Vision 2020 are neck n neck.

Quick update, Garsen Ultimate came in, very nice, but almost identical in size to SuperStroke Tour 2.0 (currently on putter), so it’s a pass (looking for something slightly bigger).

 

Superstroke 3.0 and Winn Vision 2020 are still neck n neck.
