'23 White Hot OG 1 vs Tri-Hot 1 -- Which do you prefer?

I was hoping to find a side-by-side comparison of the Tri-Hot and OG 1s, but to no avail. But I'll keep looking.

 

In the meantime, which do you prefer?

 

I've rolled a buddy's OG on the course a few times now. I like it a lot (the insert feel is much nicer than that of the perforated, electric razor screen-like feel in my 2-ball), but coming from a 2-ball, its a different look, and feels lighter and less stable. Still, I made a lot of putts with it, and the distance control was really impressive.

 

If I like the OG, but think it could use more stability, does the Tri-Hot sound like the answer? Or, is there a whole lot different about the Tri-Hot that there's not much to compare beyond the similar shapes?

 

Any insight/info is appreciated.

Would you say it’s better across the board (on long and short putts)? Also, are the Tri-Hots counterbalanced at the grip? And though you like the stability of the TH better, would you say the feel of the insert in that set-up feels as good, better, or worse than the OG?

Buy a tri-hot if you are deciding between the two. I am a trihot user and have used many OG putters before. They aren't bad, but trihot #1 is imo better than OG.

I got to roll both side-by-side in the store today, and the weighting of the TH just feels so much more stable.

I believe the tri-hots are much bigger than the OG.  I prefer the smaller size myself.

Now that might be true, but I failed to make that comparison today. I compared the sizes of the TH One and Two, but didn't hold the TH One up to the OG One. Dangit. Next trip!

My bad.  I’m more familiar with the 7 model.  The others may be closer in size.

You’re thinking #7. The trihot one is basically the same size as Toulon Austin which is not big in size. Standard if u ask me
