Switch to regular flex

Hi all,

 

Looking for a little advise. Recently got fit into P790’s with KBS Tour Lite stiff shafts. Overall experience at the fitting was fine, but not great. Hit the clubs well during the fitting. 7 iron swing speed around 82mph for reference. 
 

Now, I am not getting along with them. Shaft almost seems too stiff and I can’t feel it loading. Having a hard time closing the face as well. 
 

Previously gamed some AP3s with KBS tour regular flex shafts and loved the ball flight. Should I consider going back to that shaft in the P790s? Flight with P790s is much lower and I’ve noticed a drop in spin. 
 

any suggested would be awesome! I know there isn’t necessarily a standard for flex,

I have a similar swing speed and went regular in my kbs shafts. I always played stiff in DGs but the kbs stiff gave me trouble.

You went both lighter and stiffer, which is the worst combo for feel. I'd try tour lite regular.  You'll get some feel back. I went through this going from Project X to steelfiber i95 stiff. Couldn't feel anything. I changed to Modus 105 regular, hard-stepped. Split the difference in weight & also significantly softer so I could feel the head more.
