I have had the irons for 10 years. A new set of MP-32's are on it's way to me w/DGSLS300

962's are classic and don't get the play they deserve

they have one of the most playable grinds I've ever used.

 

Don't let them go too far once you bag the 32's. They're like an old friend.

No chance they are going anywhere. They are the first good irons I ever got, and in fact only my second set. My first set was a beginners set, Precision irons, a copy of Ping's Eye 2, and I bought the 962's used 10 years ago, and they have served me well. I just don't see Titleist offering anything that is remotely as good, so I went with the MP-32's for a forged "blade".

play'd s300's in them for 9 years. Threw some rifle 6.0's in and loved the improvement/feel.

 

Too good of a deal on a set of 300's though so I'm giving them a go. Gotta try the "forged".

962's still shiny sitting in my basement...giving me the dirty look everytime I walk by

 

Agree - titleist best set of "player cb's" to date.

Update:

 

New irons, MP-32's Dynamic Gold SL S300 Std. L/L/L. Awesome sticks, but the 962's aren't going anywhere :-D

Removed driver, hitting the spoon better, straighter and 280 from the peg. Looking for a new driver with higher loft: 975J, D or 983K 10.5*.
