I had a demo on the range and then 18 holes with a HyperX Tour 9.5* with the stock stiff E360 yesterday.

This club was extremely impressive. Sits beautifully square, and comes off the face very solid. I liked the launch, definitely not too high and spinny, and there was no way I was going to miss this club left.

The E360 played pretty well. It certainly felt stiff enough for me (105ish SS - 1 h'cap - with a quick transition) - and I think it could be a good shaft. It did feel 'dead', which is a bit hard to explain.

Can anyone here give me some feedback on their experiences with this club, especially with the stock shaft, and also any other shafts? My last 2 drivers have been Nike SQ with Axis stiff and 905R with V2 stiff, both in 9.5.

The website says this combo is D5 at 45.5", which is also great. It certainly felt heavy enough to me that I could cut it back to 45" without it becoming a matchstick.

If there is anyone out there looking for an anti-left driver, you really should give this club a try. That is not really why I like it, as I don't miss many drives left anyway, but this club was NEVER going to miss left.

Had a Hyper Tour 10.5 with E360 regular shaft. SS is 87-92. When i caught the ball well this club is a bomber. About 10 yards longer than any other driver i have palyed. Good trajectory and plenty of roll. I am a 11 handicap and downside is club was not as forgiving as others so more misses - to the right.

Swithched to a TM 2007 Burner and am very happy. For a low handicapper who drives well this club should definitely be considered. I just needed a little more forgivensss.

Pretty funny Captain Murphy but is was "like 325" not 350, nice try though.

As far as the Hyper X Tour goes, I have been playing a 9.5 tour with a vs proto stiff at 44.5 (D3). I have about the same swing as you and I am really enjoying this driver. Golf Magazine tested it as by far the longest of the better player drivers and it was very close to the top in dispersion. So if you like longest, almost the straightest and one of the least expensive out there you won't regret it. Nothing wierd looking about it, no bulges or cavities.

My vs proto was too expensive as a factory upgrade and that is my only complaint. It is amazing to me what advertising can do to people. Callaway's horrible ad with Dick's and Johnny has this club treated like the "hammer" by many on this site (see above). While the new Tour Burner TP is hailed with undeniable greatness. Hit them both on a launch moniter and save yourself the $300.

9.5 tour x-stiff e-360

Really wanted to like it, but no go so far. Could not keep the thing from going right. (B4 someone says too stiff, I play x-stiff in all my drivers.) Right is my miss on occasion when I block but not every shot. Cut it down to 44.5 and helped some, but still can't count on it. It almost seems mental to me, I don't play 460's as I haven't found one i hit well yet. I almost feel like I can't get the club through the ball with that head hanging out there.

On another note, I did not really like the feel of the ball coming off the face. I like a more positive thud or crack and the Hyper feels (or sounds) much more tinny.

I let a buddy play it last weekend, and his thoughts were close to mine across the board. (Hey maybe it's the arrow this time and not the Indian!!)

Still really wanting to like it though - Pretty!!
