Do Titleists really putt better?

Other balls that putt well.

I usually play cheaper balls like Top Flite D2 Straight, Pinnacle Exceptions and Wilson SmartCores. I want to try out Laddie X and Noodle +. I find a lot of balls in the woods when I may be looking for one of my balls. I have every brand and quite a few Titleists.

I sometimes fool around on the putting green and play 3 different balls. Usually a found Titleist, D2 and SmartCore. The SmartCore is great ball and is soft. The D2 drives well and is a little heavy and hot off the putter. The Titleists just seem to putt very well, I know they are great off the irons and wedges too. I was using an NXT tonight but I have VX, VX-1, NXT Tour, DT and others I have found.

I can sink some nice 30 feet and more putts with breaks usually with the Titleist. They seem like they have radar for the hole. I had a Wilson Staff 360 Max Distance NuClear orange ball and I sunk a 40 foot put last week on the course. It was twilight and I could see the ball.

Any other balls that you really enjoy putting with?

I sometimes find that Titleists off the driver are not as long, hot or straight.

I found the best ball off my putter is the TaylorMade Red LDP. It roles out just as it should, the role is very true to the line and it feels simply amazing of the the flat stick. The rest are listed in order from best to worst (again, just my findings), V1, NOP 08, B330S, TM Black LDP, V1x and very much at the bottom of the list is the Cally ix.

Thanks. I need to try out the new TM's. I found one or two new TMs in the woods. I am not sure if they are LDPs. I think one is.

 

TM advertises lots of pros switching but the buzz here and elsewhere have been positive about TM Red and Black LDPs.

Glues to the green with a perfect roll. Soft feel . No wonder Tiger makes so many 15 footers.

Have to say couldn't stand the Nike One Platinum on the greens, which is a shame because with my irons and woods I quite enjoyed hitting them. Just didn't like the feel. Give me the Pro V1 anyday or the Taylormade Red LDP
