Well here it is! I have been meaning to do this for a while, but I finally got around to it. For the most part the clubs in the bag are here to stay, but hey, you never know... Here they are with the specs.



Drivers:
I used to play the TM relgiously but the Cobra is just amazing, I honestly cant imagine playing golf without it. The Burner will stay around, I find that I can draw it easier. But the Cobra is in it for the long haul.

Fairway Woods/Hybrids
I alternate fairways and and hybrids depending on the course I am playing. Normally I dont really bother to change them out unless its a tournament, or I am playing a course I know I will need a specific club for. For the most part my normal bag consists of the 13* 904F and the 19* 585-H.

Irons/wedges:
I have toyed with alot of irons, and the bottom line is...I love blades! I must change my focus when I am hitting them, because I strike them much more solidly and consistantly than other irons. I am currently hitting a set of Titleist 690.MB's.
The 690.MB is personally my favorite Titleist iron they have ever made. At the time of these photo's they had Aldila graphite shafts in them, but they are currently in route to my good friend who does all my club repair to have True Temper Black Gold shafts in X-Flex installed. Personally the Black Gold is my favorite iron shaft I have played to date.

This putter is my baby, I've had it for almost 3 years and no matter what I can NOT find one that I putt better with, and trust me I have tried, but I just love this putter.

Extra:
I always carry lots of extras in my bag, I play the TaylorMade R7 Tour glove, I always have Advil and athletic tape in my bag as well. I also keep extra putter grips around, if I go through a slump with the putter I will throw a new grip on and that seems to help. (Its all mental I know!) I play Nike and Titleist golf balls, the Pro V1X is my MAIN golf ball, but I have been testing the Nike 08 Platinum, and Black and have been VERY impressed.

By far! I have never had a club...ANY club make more of an impact on my game than this driver...Ill just put it like that.

I got it from a PGA tour tournament, Unfortunetly I can't say much more than that. I CAN say that it is OUTSTANDING!! I have not been a fan of the V2's at all, but this shaft is excellent. Its got amazing feel, its very smooth. The trajectory is very flat and boring, and in this club its been exactly what I was hoping it would be.

nice set up, i played 690.mb for a long time and now have a love for the 695mb,s.. been wanting to try the l4v but i think the new tour burner maybe the one for me..

The L4V is interesting...I wouldn't recomend just testing the "stock" version. Try finding someone who has tinkered a bit with theirs, either with shaft or cotton ball treatment. Now the stock version is GREAT for some people so I would say that its worth at least trying. But if you dont like it, dont panic, dont say "oh this driver isn't that good" ALOT of people are finding that if you toy with it a bit, this driver REALLY, REALLY comes alive for you.

Just spoke to my friend and my irons have been re-shafted, re-gripped, and my name etched into the hosel on the tour van, and are in route to my front door. I will post pictures when they get here!

I have to agree with ccgolfer. I won the shaft contest and have a 69 gram AXIVcore in my driver. Very smooth and a boring, flat flight. I have never played a V2 so I can't relate but it feels really good.

They are nice aren't they?! The regular V2 IMO very much lacks feel, and this shaft just has SO much! Do you tend to hit it high? I get a few shots that just go a touch too high, but overall this club just rules!

You know oddly enough I got that nickname when I was 10! and of course NOT because of drinking, my best friends dad gave me that name because my torso he said reminded him of a Keg(broad shoulders, chest, stomach), and I was always stronger than average for my age. He used to joke that by the time I reached high school I would be able to curl full kegs with each arm. So he took that and my name (Keegan) and decieded to call me "Kegger" and that name STUCK! and when I say stuck I mean it! EVERYONE in my home town knows me as either: Kegger, Keg, Keeg, Kegmeister. I haven't been called by my real name in years!

 

 

P.S. and yes I DID enjoy my high school/college years too....we'll call it a self fulfulling proficy. :)

I am still loving the irons, they are my newest weapons and boy are they deadly. I might however have a couple new toys in the works. I have a Sonartec SS-02 5 wood that I'm looking to reshaft with a VooDoo XVS8. I used to play a 5 wood religiously until 3 years ago, and I have been missing one ever since. Also, Its about time to replace my 54* the face is about worn to nothing. And I may be adding another driver to the mix. A Titleist 907 D2 7.5 w/ Diamana Whiteboard. I love my L4V, but I would love to have a little more workability for certain courses I play. Anyway, these are still up in the air for the most part...as soon as I have something I post pics.
