Aldila Voodoo - Should I re-shaft or wait?

I recently got my hands on an Aldila Voodoo shaft.

But, I'm wondering if I should reshaft my SQ tour (two seasons) with this baby, get a new head (SQ 5000) and shaft it, or keep it under wraps until February when nike throws out the new driver line?

(I likah the nike :man_in_love: )

I need some educated opinions! What would you do?

I guess my question is...

 

should I waste this shaft on four year old technology (SQ Tour), I mean don't get me wrong I love this driver head, but....?

 

...I really had to scrimp to get my hands on this shaft...so a new head would be a stretch (although not out of the question)

 

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!

I hear it is a really great shaft, as I have not had the opportunity to hit it yet, but if you think about it, if you are hitting the tour head already you don't need much more help... i assume... so why get a new one if you are comfortable with the one you already have. And if you want a new head later, just swap the shaft out.

How many "pulls" can a shaft handle?

I think I'll just throw it in my ole' SQ Tour head, IMO still one of the best driver heads made! I let you know how the shaft plays once I've made the switch.

throw it in the tour head you like, if the new driver in february is better, pull the shaft and pick one of those up

Leave your current clubs alone, they work fine.

Really, put it in the driver you love and see what happens. If it works for you then try it next year in the new head if you want. no problem with the pulls if done right.
