Accra SC series shafts... Any good?

I am looking at putting on of these in a gs tour head and I really have not heard much about the shafts but have noticed a few pros playing them. I would be looking at the sc65 or sc75 probably getting an M3 and tipping it because i've heard that they tend to play a little stiff. I am looking for a medium flat ball flight. Maybe some the clubfitters have some experience? And is there anything I need to be weary of when reshafting the gs tour head?

I've got the SC65T in M4 and dont feel it is stiff at all. If anything I feel it is soft to flex.

 

But that could be due to the smooth feel and soft tip of the shaft.

Accra shafts are great. If you are looking for mid flight I would go with the XC series instead of the SC. They are only $25 more and have the Axiv material. These shafts are more mid flight as opposed to the SC series which are high launch. I have an XE 80 in my three wood and this is the best fairway shaft ever. It is far more expensive than the XC/SC series so that may be an issue.

I also am a true believer in the Accra Series of products. I am currently playing solely Accra in my woods, with an XC75 M4 (tipped 1") in my Cleveland HiBore XL, and the SE80* and the SE80 in my 3 wood and 5 wood.

 

Overall these are probably some of if not the best shafts on the Market. The XC has found a new home in my driver and has become one of the most dependable clubs in my bag. The SE series are amazingly tight and have very little spin to them... just remember to eat your Wheaties before you play.

I'm glad to hear all these good things... I ordered an SC75 to put in my NP-99, so we'll see what happens..

I was happy with mine. The shaft broke inside the club after a couple of holes - looking to replace it now. Launch was mid with fairly low spin, easy to load, and very smooth.

I have a SC 75 M5 in my driver and it is a superb shaft!
