Why Doesn't Precept Make Mens Clubs Anymore???

Does anyone know why Precept isn't making mens irons and/or woods anymore? I have several different sets of Precept irons and woods and in my opinion, they made some really good stuff over the years: Forged Tour Premium's & TP CB's, EC603 Prospec blades and cavity backs, TQ-04 Combo Set (Exactly the same as the Bridgestone J33 Combo Set), Tour Premium Oil Finish & Satin Wedges, 160f 3 Wood and 140f 5 Wood (the best fairway woods I have ever hit), etc, etc, ect.... I know they seemed to have stayed under the radar for some reason, but I have always thought Bridgestone's Precept line was one of the best kept secrets in golf. Its funny how some people are drawn to certain manufacturers, and I have always been drawn to the Bridgestone/Precept name, especially when it came to the irons. So I was just wondering if anyone knew why Precept isnt making clubs anymore? I've emailed them and they either didnt respond, or they avoided the question in their return email. I asked my local pro shop guy and he said they just stopped calling him a while back and he has no idea either. So, if anyone knows why Precept isnt making mens clubs anymore, I would love to know something. Are they just concentrating on balls now??? Thanks for the help!

You know that Precept is a Bridgestone brand?

yes, I know Precept is a Bridgestone company. Thats why I said "Bridgestone's Precept line" and "drawn to the Bridgestone/Precept name" in my original post

I'm pretty sure it went from Precept to Tourstage to Bridgestone in US branding. They all come from the same company, just different name and release dates.

Yeah, maybe thats it. maybe "Bridgestone" is the more affordable line now and "Tour Stage" is their (Bridgestones) premium line? Whereas Bridgestone used to be the premium line and Precept was the more affordable line? Makes sense. Thanks

From what I'm seeing, for the US market, and I could be wrong, is Bridgestone is trying to make the men's line Bridgestone and Precept the ladies' line. Which in a way is a smart thing to do. No fear of overlapping products and competing with itself.

Last I heard, Bridgestone is phasing out Precept. It makes sense, why spend all that money marketing 2 different brands when they could just focus on marketing Bridgestone.
