Played here the other day with pm hacker. Makaha Resort and GC is located on the western side of the ilsland of Oahu. We locals call it Makaha West. It's about a 3 wood from Makaha Valley Country Club. It's the longer of the two courses out here in Makaha. It's definitely harder due to it's legnth but shares the same views of the mountains and the ocean. For my buddy Beruo who loves the mountain scenery, I made sure to include a few for him here in the pictures.

Makaha Resort plays 7077 yards from the tips. Has a slope of 139 and a 73.2 course rating. Here's the pics...enjoy! :D



























And for all the Canadian members....your country's flag on the far right pole.....I was told the owner of the resort is from Canada. :)

Another spectacular course! Why you Hawai'ians got to hoard all the best courses for yourselves? Can't you share some wit' your bruddas on the mainland?? :D

 

That huge mountain in the background of a couple of pictures...is that Pali Lookout? The place where a huge battle was fought?

 

Edit: One more question...how often do you eat at Ono's?? :)

The Pali lookout is located on the Koolau Mountain Range....as seen in the pics of Koolau Golf Course that I posted. The ones here are the Makaha/Waianae Valley.

 

As for Ono's...once in awhile..most of the stuff I can make myself! :cheesy:
