Whispering Pines east or west?

Flying in Thursday for a 7 round marathon but get in early enough for 18. I called they said 29.00 after 100. Just trying to get some feedback if possible. Already playing Tot Hill Farm,Southern Pines,and Tobacco Road. Staying at Little River so WP is right down the street. LR has the Tarheel tour in town or we play there. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Welp We ended up playing WP west since it was overseeded. It was a nice traditional Sand Hills track in good condition and was only 29.00 after 1:00 when you signed up for a free registration card. WP was a mellow way to start out our golf marathon. We also played Southern Pines "WOW" what a hidden gem. A poor mans Pinehurst # 2 to say the least. Some of the toughest and nicest par 3 on the trip. This course is now in the rotation when in the area. After playing SP try Beefeaters - bar menu - Prime Rib sandwich yum yum . Its about 2 miles from SP and also staying on the dine out "must list". Played Tot Hill Farm aka the swing wrecker for us FL boyz. Many reviews on this track. You either love it or think its Mickey Mouse golf. I happen to enjoy this unique and always in good shape design. Even if my swing wishes I were home in the flat lands. Tobacco Road we played 3 rounds because were diehards like that. Always on the rotation and proably the reason we keep coming to pinehust for our golftrip. This course is fair once you have played 20 + times and its always mint. Stayed @ Little River Farm condo 2br. Very centralized location for courses we played and there bar and resteraunt are open late. Oh yea and its about a 50 yard stagger back to bed. If anyone is interrested in these accomadations I can get them for about $100 anight total-all year. Oh yea also chowed at the local Bonefish Grille about 5 minutes from condo also on the yum yum list. Hope this rant helps someone. Cheers
