TM Burner ball

Any input?
I picked up a box of these for next to nothing, and I think I am finally going to game them for the first time this week. Just wondering if anyone had any input on what to expect.

I'm a high handicapper and I will be switching from Nike Mojo. I know some people say high handicappers might as well just hit shag balls, but I've found that sticking with one ball helps to gain feel and mentally gives me a little confidence boost. We have our company golf tounement on Friday, and I am planning on giving the Burner balls their first run through during the event (because I just ran out of my Mojo box). Just wondering if anyone has anything spacific to expect from this ball, especially if you can compare the Burner to the Mojo.

My personal feelings on both: first a profile; I'm lucky to hit a ball 225 off the tee because of the onset of arthritis in my thumbs, shoulders, and elbows.

Didn't like the feel on the Burner TP ball; felt too hard and didn't like its performance. The Burner ball is a different story. Great feel off of the metals, irons, and good distance. Great feel off the putter head; not totally soft, but certainly not hard. I think it's a great ball for the price. Also saw them in Dick's today for 2 dozen for $35 bucks.

yesterday i played 18 holes and was gaming the burner. it was windy to the tune of 30 to 40 mile an hour wind gusts and it didnt affect this ball at all. also had my longest drive of the year with it 290(i average 240) i shot an 89 while my buddy (titleist dt carry) shot 97... we have the same handicap. i love the ldp from tm.

I haven't used the regular burner, but I'm surprised to hear your thoughts about the burner TP

I've found the burner TP to feel softer than the titleist NXT, and the TM TP black's

to me the burner TP's one of the softer golfballs I've used

we've all got different hands though, but my experience differs to yours

displayname,

I got a box of these for Christmas (I asked for the tours but got the these instead by accident). I am suprised at how much I like these balls, I have been searching since my ball for the past 4 seasons was the Precept U-tri Tours and I know these will all be gone soon. The TM is nice and soft off the wedges and putter which is what I like, but not spinny off the driver, which is what I NEED.

I think you will really like them. But now I am confused as to whether to get the Tour model later this summer or stick with the standards?

Have fun, Joe
