has anybody tried these wedges yet?? ordered one from TSG and hoping it spins and bites like crazy. :russian_roulette:

You can put the gun down...

I'm playing these wedges right now and I'm in Love with them. They knocked the Chikara Proto's out of the bag.

Which ones did you get? You can check out my sig to see which ones I'm playing.

got the 2010 proto type thanks very much looking forward to playing it.

I bought the 2010 (not proto) 51* and feel in love with the feel and consistency. So easy to hit... it is my 100yrd club and swear it goes a 100 yards almost exactly everytime.

Picked up the 54 and 58* proto's and did find it took a shag bag and a couple of rounds to dial in. But now... I couldn't be happier. Hard to explain the feel, very solid, soft, I mean solid-soft... you just want to keep hitting it. It doesn't matter where you hit it on the face the ball seems to go the same distance. Forgiving plus.

The 58* has a lot of bounce and isn't great out of a "hard bunker" or really hard tight turf. Ypu'll feel it bounce. It does lay open extremely easy and slides under the ball with ease. It's the easiest wedge to open up I've played.

The 54* is great out of the harder bunkers and pretty much any lie you throw at it.

They seem to be extremely durable. I've hit 200 (mostly practice) shots with each of them and after cleaning them up today after playing the faces look like they just came out of the box. The KBS wedge shaft compliments them nicely.

Full shots, be ready to replace your ball or at least scrape off the cover thats hanging off of the ball. Plenty of spin. Depending on the Green you'll most likely have to throw it over the stick because it's going to rip back.
