best stand bag to use on a cart?

im a ping guy and i usually ride now but still want a stand bag when i do walk. i noticed that some ppl say they have trouble putting stand bags on carts, i have had no problems with the hoofer on a cart. so far i am interested in the hoofer vantage, titleist premium bag, or possibly l8+.

Haven't tried any of what you mentioned but I've got a few. My Sun Mountain MPB is great on a cart and great for walking too. A bit heavier than most prefer. I've recently got a Ogio Ozone that is nice and light for walking and I found it fits great on a cart as well as my V1 pushcart. I got a Callaway Warbird Hot stand bag in a tournament and it's interesting with the XTT base. It actually fits very well in a cart and is a nice light carry bag, great leg system which is real solid and fairly affordable if you looked online. Out of the three, I'm happiest with the Ogio Ozone as it's the all around bag that fits all categories in an acceptable way for me.

I've carried Sun Mountain bags forever, then started riding more and bought a cart bag. Once that bit the dust I started looking at SM again and the MPB, but that also seemed to sit wrong on the back of a cart.

Saw a post on here about a convertible bag called ZZEUS by ClubMaxx. You can remove the legs and the strap in about 10 seconds and have it on a cart.
It's a little heavier than superlight bags but you can also stuff the various pockets without interfering with the clubs like superlights do. When carried the balance is great.
If you contact them by email or phone you'll most likely talk to the designer Scott Gordon. Didn't have any local stores where I could see it, but based on other feedback and talking to Scott, I bought one and really like it. Just my .02

I've got an Ogio Edge that sits pretty much perfect on a cart. The legs have little loops they can go in to keep them from wanting to pop out and the bag has a strap that wraps around the bar on the cart that stops anything from twisting or shifting. All the pockets are accessible and I've never had any issues. It might be a little on the heavy side if you walk a ton, but I'm probably about 1/3 walking and 2/3 cart and never have any problems.

Any of the Ogio bags with the Torq strap makes a good stand / cart bag. The Torq strap binds across the wire basket behind the seat. I have found it more stable than even the cart bags. No twisting or falling off the cart. I have the Ogio Nexos bag and the only improvement I would make to is to add a cooler pocket. Other than that, it has more pockets than most cart bags. Plus it is easy to get in and of the trunk of my Mustang which has a small trunk opening. My personal choice aside, just choose whatever Ogio bag (with the Torq strap) that fits you needs and you should be happy.

I have an ogio syncro cart and its awesome, but make sure you purchase a stand bag if you intend to carry it as my cart bag is very heavy with all the pockets and loaded up. I'm 25 and I workout 5 days a week and I can't imagine carrying the thing for 18 holes. my friend just bought an ogio stand on my advice and he loves it, he picked up one with a brown checker'd finish like sherlock holmes style, sweet bag. I think tgw was selling them for $99 a month ago when he got it.

I just picked up the Under Armour Links bag today at Dicks real cheap. I ride 95% of the time. Has anyone had any experience with this bag riding or just in general. I left the tags on because I am not 100% decided on it yet. Seems like a really sturdy bag, but the pocket configuration is a little funny for me.

I am in the same situation as you and have been comparing Hoofer C1, Latitude and some cart bags even though I ride 99% of the time I would like a stand bag since I go to the range more than I play. Pings description of the Latitude says that its inner frame makes it easier to get clubs in and out and it has a few more bells and whistles than the C1. You might add it to your list; I am going to bring my entire bag into Edwin Watts this weekend and swap all of my clubs over to see how easy it is to get clubs in and out and will let you know as this has been the only real drawback for me with Ping Hoofers. BTW all of the Titleist stand bags are made by Sun Mountain and just like SM bags all have that little part of the base that sticks out making it necessary to turn the bag sideways in the cart (If it wasn't for this reason I would be getting a 14 way Titty stand bag probably).
