Best Push/Pull Cart?

I have a Nike Swoosh Staff bag and for the next season, I want to start walking more. I would get a stand/carry bag, but most courses I play have long distances to the next tees and my shoulders end up getting tired. I love my Swoosh staff bag, pretty basic and simple, and would like to know what push/pull carts should I take a look at? Nothing too expensive or crazy...just a basic one that will hold it secure and firm and have a few extra holders for balls, drinks, and maybe a towel.

 

Any recommendations?

Bag Boy has a great selection and some very reasonable. I carry the SC-600(I believe that the right number). Hope this helps.

Will a staff sized bag fit into the model you have? A lot of sites are having sales so this is a good time to get one

clicgears can be had for 150 and I haven't seen anything better.

+1 Clicgear IMHO is the best all around push cart out there right now.

Swoosh bag - nice. I'd recommend you get the best cart you can even if that means a tradeoff with another piece of equipment/accessory or skipping a round (delaying the first round of the season was how I justified my pushcart purchase.)

Consider trunk space. If you have it, SunMountain is the best hands-down. Built like a tank and rolls smoothly - just not petite in size. The strapless system and balanced weighting are incredible. If you don't have much trunk space, Clicgear's the next best.

I've owned several carts over the last 15 years. The irony is that my SM has easily outlasted others and I can't see buying a new one. It cost more than I planned, but I bit the bullet and traded one round of golf in order to pay for the upgrade. It's the best tradeoff decision I've ever made when it comes to golfing equipment.

You can get SM V1 and Clicgear for about the same price (150-ish).

My friend is looking for a Clicgear, where are you finding the $150 ones?

Ive tried looking for clicgears and SM V1s for that price but cant find one....are you guys talking about ebay? I have a SUV but half of the space is used by a subwoofer system..lol. I do understand getting the best one I can get and will probably do...I always buy something that I settled for and in the end end up getting what I really wanted and I always end up losing money...I learned my lesson so I might as well pay a higher initial cost but be happy with my purchase. Any huge difference between the SM V1 and V2? There's a pretty big price difference between the two.

I have the V1. I think the primary difference is that the V2 uses "strapless" technology to hold the bag in place. The scorecard holder and compartment is also redesigned and larger in the V2.

 

V1: Note the bungee type straps.

 

 

V2: Strapless "friction" type holder for bag.

Ahhh...thanks for the comparison. Maybe the v1 would be a good choice...the v2 looks great especially with the strapless...but I dont mind the bungee cords that much. Decisions decisions...lol

My brother in law has the V1 and I have the V2. He's constantly mumbling about how he wished he got the strapless. Feature-wise, I don't think the cost difference is justifiable, but I wanted the convenience of strapless. Nothing beast fold/unfold, hoist, and go.

I carry most of my course-accessible items in the pouches and scorecard holder as well but they're aren't that much different. The only real difference is the mesh pouch below the bag on V2.

Everyone says the V2s are too costly (they are), and then they turn around and say they wish they'd spent the extra to get one.

TGW sales have had them as low as around $210, and the can be had on eBay for less. My thought was why come up less than $50 short of the one I absolutely wanted so no looking back and no temptation to upgrade/fix my bad decision.
