Yonex Cyberstar Powerbird

Has anyone hit the Yonex Cyberstar Powerbird driver and if so what did you like or dislike about it ?? Thanks

Anyone ever hit this driver ? Looks good from pictures ive seen and cant beat the price on these...... any info appreciated ...........

Believe it or not, I actually hit this driver about a week ago at the local Pro Golf in Crystal Lake, IL. They had about 4 or 5 of them in the clearance bin so I taped it up and swung it about 15 to 20 times in the simulator. I thought it looked nice at address and felt and sounded solid at impact. Stock shaft wasn't bad. Distance was maybe 10 to 15 yards less overall than I get from my current driver (12 degree Innovex CfD with Accra T60 M4 shaft); however, I wouldn't necessarily shy away from it. Shot dispersion was pretty tight and the price was extremely reasonable. I think this driver could be had for around $100.00. Not bad when it was originally $400.00 (I think). Good luck.

By an unbelievable stroke of luck, I recently bought Colin Montgomerie's used Cyberstar 3 wood from last year and one of this year's spare 460cc Nanospeed 9* drivers from an assistant U.K. pro where he practices with his coach Dennis Pugh. The Nanospeed driver isn't yet available except in Asia.

It's been a fight to get the clubs here but I have confirmation that I'll see them next week.

I couldn't pass the chance up and got them for less than the price of similar new retail models. The driver was delivered earlier this year to Monty by the President of Yonex. Monty had started hitting a Cleveland driver with some success and Yonex wanted to get their club back into his bag. How could I go wrong on this deal---the best Yonex had to offer to their biggest Tour representative?
