did everyone lose all messages in their inbox and sent items?

just got back on after a few days and all my inbox and sent messages are no longer there. did they get deleted when they were doing the upgrades?

The PM system just came back on-line a few minutes ago. All of my messages are missing, as well as my saved folders. Give it some time and we'll see if they get re-populated.

Old messages will not return for a few days. Don't worry they didn't get lost, they are just in a little bit of a limbo.

Edit: You won't be getting your saved folders back, the PMs that were in them,yes.

I know we have allot of members but a forwarning would have been nice, as I have been waiting to access some tracking numbers that are only in my GolfWRX PM's, I guess I will be waiting a few more days, or my clubs will be here by then. If I would have know there was going to be some site upgrades I would have copied and pasted them before it all happened. O well no big deal.

You're not the only one feeling that way right now. Definitely 5263.

There were posts throughout the forums during the week and up to the hour in which the upgrade was going to occur. There are almost a million PMs from over 3 years that have to be converted to the new DB. Unfortunately, the upgrade did not go smoothly and we did not achieve 100% conversion. Its being reconverted now and hopefully will be back in 24 to 48 hours. The other option we had was to continue to disable PMs access for the next few days but it was decided some access was better than none.

No worries for me anymore, my stuff showed up today so I don't need the tracking numbers. I guess I must have missed the posts about the update. O well, it's not the end of the world, a couple PM's is pretty minor compaired to what is going on in placed like Haiti, and other places around the world. I'm sure we can all wait for a while for a website we all love so much.
