Sun Mountain MPB

Please someone clear this up for me.

Does this bag fit normally on a cart? I've read about a hundred search results on this bag nearly as many different opinions on whether it fits well on a golf cart(not worried about push/pull cart). If someone with experience could tell me the following I'd be very appreciative:

1. Do you have to force the bag into a cart to make the base fit?
2. Do you have to turn the bag sideways any to make it fit?
3. Does the putter tube fit okay on the cart?

I'm trying to decide between this bag and the Nike Sasquatch Tour but can't put my hands on the MPB anywhere locally.

The MPB requires some finagling to get into a cart. It's the stand mechanism. It protrudes too far for the bag to sit perfectly straight. You have to turn it slightly sideways. At least on the E-Z-GO RXV you do.

The MPB was discontinued in 2009...

Can anyone recommend a similar bag as a replacement for the MPB? I have a 2005 or so version that I'd like to replace. This bag is perfect for me. I like the built-in stand for the driving range, and it's also big enough to hold lot's of stuff. I also like the 14 individual club dividers and putter tube. There doesn't seem to be many crossover bags in production now. I many have to buy a used MPB.

I've been able to put mine on a cart, but they do seem to like to work themselves slightly askew. Not a big deal for me, but I know it bothers some. Maybe different carts, who knows.

I've seen them in different stores - Golf Galaxy, some online stores, and some mom & pop ones here. You can still find MPBs.

Good to know, I've seen a few used on BST and on eBay. I think I'd like the MPB for the putter tube but I may look for a Nike Sasquatch instead.
