I had some down time today so I decided to post a WITB. This is my bag as it sits right now, though the driver, 3 wood and wedges are subject to change at any time depending on where and/or how I'm playing. I'm also waiting on a replacement driver from Taylormade since I had a weight crossthread in my Superquad, so I'll update once I get my new driver and decide whether or not to bag it

Driver- Taylormade R510TP 9.5 degree with Accuflex Evolution playing at 45", Lamkin Crossline Midsize +1 wrap
3wd- Taylormade Tour Burner 15 degree with ReAx S flex shaft, Tour Velvet
Hybrids- Adams Idea Pro 3 (20 degree) and 4 (23 degree) VS Proto-ByYou 80g, Tour Velvets
Irons- Callaway 2007 X Forged 5-PW Project X 6.0, Golf Pride DD2
Wedges- Callaway X Forged Raw 52 degree C-grind MD grooves, X100 with Tour Velvet, Ping Eye2 S 57.5 degree with Tour Velvet, Ping Eye2+ 61 degree with Tour Velvet
Putter- Guerin Rife Two Bar Hybrid, 34" with Winn Jumbo grip
Bag- Titleist carry bag with Hawks Ridge logo (the club I work at and where I do most of my playing)

I've got my old PING G2 10 degree with Prolaunch Blue that sometimes makes it into the bag, along with the X Forged Raw 56 and 60 degree wedges with the MD grooves and C-grind as well. These wedges have better spin than my PING's, but I'm more confident in the PING's because of my time with them. I also bag a 32.5" PING Anser 4 when the greens are really fast at my club. I'm building a driver for scrambles, using a 5 degree SMT O2 head and either an Aldila Longwood shaft at 48" or a pink Aldila NVS, depending on the results I get once my head arrives this week.

surprised you game with the rife over the newport2. the newport 2 is one sexy putter. loving the old school pings.

Forgot to add, I'm keeping my first legitimate handicap this season, but because I haven't played 10 rounds yet I don't have a number on it. To get it started I'm listing each side seperately, and generally shoot somewhere between 42-46 on each nine at my course from the gold tees, which are one up from the tips. I posted my lowest round ever on Saturday with a 3 over 39, which is great for me considering the slope rating of 146 there. This is my third full season of golf, and my second one being pretty serious about it, so we'll see how my handicap ends up at the end of this year

I agree that the Scotty is a great looking putter, but the Rife with the jumbo grip has helped me improve my stroke tremendously over the last year, and I've got far more confidence in it than the Newport. The Newport is also considerably longerthan my beloved Anser 4, so it doesn't seem to fit my stroke as well as my other two putters, which is why I'm hoping to move it in the coming weeks to fund a new 3 wood purchase (or possibly a new Kombi or Fastback 1.5)

I did notice it was pretty long at 35". It wouldnt cost much to have them cut that down 2 inches or so for you but I agree on the idea of snagging a Kombi. Congrats on the 39!

What series of newport is it?

It's a Studio Series from 05 or 06, it's been gamed but would be great for someone looking for a good gamer or a custom shop candidate

Well guys, my WITB has changed a little, I've got a Ping I15 15.5 degree 3 wood now instead of the Burner. I've got the stock Axiv Tour Red in this stick and I'm hitting it very well. I've got a G15 on order with a ProjectX 6.0 shaft, and it should be here sometime early next week. I've dropped the LW in favor of adding the 4 iron as well, giving me more options towards the top end of my bag. I had the PX shafts from the irons pulled and had the heads reshafted with PX 6.5's butt trimmed to freq. out to a 5.8, I'm getting a little more distance with the same dispersion as before, and now all clubs in my bag are sporting the white Lamkin 3Gen N-Dur grips. I'll post pics again as soon as the G15 arrives
