HELP! Changing the weight of putter and grip

I really need some advice

Ok, I posted some of this info before, but... I have an older TM Daytona blade (about 10yrs old). I put on a superstroke grip a year ago. I really like the feel of it, and it helps me stay on line. BUT, as you all know, the grip is pretty heavy, and the Daytona is on the light side. I have NO, and I mean NO distance control. this year I have already mentally convinced myself to get a new putter, lol. (I want something new for the bag, and am actually pretty happy with my other stuff :)

So, I am in love with the new TM Spider Vicino. I am not a real good putter, and need to practice, but the Vicino seems to line up well for me. I am 95% sure I am getting the center shaft. I think it comes with 4g weights? I am leaning toward the 34inch size. So, my question is, I want to put my superstroke on it, but how do I determine how much weight I need for the head? Do I have them measure the swing weight as new, then try to get that the same with the SS grip? Or is it just up to me, and how it feels for me? I purchased a set of 16g weights off ebay for real cheap, so I have them ready to try, but have no idea if that is a good starting point. Advice??

Match the swingweight of the original, then adjust for feel.

To anyone who already has this putter, what weight have you found to work well?

I swingweight all of my putters and grip weight can change the headweight of the putter quite a bit. I've seen those grips that you are using and imagine that their installation LOWERs the headweight of any putter quite a bit.

I like my putters to swingweight to about E-0/E-2. I use the GOLFPRIDE V-RAD grips but when I need to make the head end heavier on a lighter head putter, I use a WINN grip that weighs about 15-20 grams less then my V-RADs. I have also added weight to the BUTT end of a putter to lighten the head weight. Good post, hope you have success and it sounds like a putter with adjustable weights will be a help as you tinker.
