I noticed the "warm-up" talk myself but Carling does engage mouth before brain once in a while:0) Nice to see her make that cut though. Seems as if that course is playing pretty tough.

Wow, Carling is having the round of her life, -5 through 11 holes and T13 at -6 overall. I hope she can finish it off.

Yeah, she does tend to blurt things out. I couldn't believe it applied to a sponsors exemption in a relatively small field, only 108 players. I guarantee there was plenty of competition for that exemption.

There's something spunky about her that I like.

Maybe it was the way the Golf Channel edited the show, but I was glad that she dusted the other girls after they ganged-up on her.

Wow! I'll be watching the tape tonight so I havn't been keeping up with the live scoring. She's playing great!

Her short game obviously bailed her out since she hit only 20 greens in regulation among 36.

I think this is the first time a Big Break winner has made the cut in his/her first event on a major tour. But it carries an oddity since this is not the exemption Carling received for her Big Break win. That is in Lorena Ochoa's Invitational later this fall, plus an LET event in Dubai. CVS was apparently impressed with Carling on Big Break and gave her one of two sponsors exemptions this week.

I wonder how they felt when Carling described this tournament as, "a little warmup event," during Friday's post round interview with Stephanie Sparks?

Carling carded a 76 today to finish T51 but I think she probably had the time of her golfing life. I was glad that GC showed highlights of her 3rd round last night (when they finally got around to it at 9:00pm). Tom & Beth were impressed by her birdie dances (me too) ;0)....she's fun to watch.
