Long Driver Swing Weights

Just wondering how you guys balance swing weight with the added ~4-5" on the shaft adding 24-30 points. Do you put tons of weight in the handle?

Anyone know their long drive drivers swing weight?

 

My Cobra 48" LDA length driver is about an E2

I have a Ft9 TA, i know its not a LD club but i installed a shaft to play it at 46" and the swingweight came out to E0.......Is this swingweight OK ???? I know most 45" drivers are anywhere from d0-d3.....so is 7 swing points extra bad ????

I don´t think you can put a 48 inch shaft in any Driverhead!
First LD Heads have a flatter lie, second the head is a touch lighter etc.

I knew my 48 inch Kran El Diablo has a headweight of around 201 gramms.
The builder of my Club counterbalanced the swingweight to D7...
He even spined the shaft...

On a swingweightscale it is D7 - but my feel says it is at least E2!

Good for me because all my Irons are E2!

So I think the counterbalancing works for little adjustments but not to a higher scale....

48" USGA= 50" LDA so....
I'd say there is a real good chance you are in the E range
what shaft and grip?
example-60 gram shaft with 50 gram grip in a 201 gram head gets you roughly E6-7

reason I say-
mine-
197 gram head
70 gram shaft
50 gram grip
48" (USGA)
" LDA
roughly E-5
overall feel and balance takes priority over swingweight-especially in LD clubs
