Golf Galaxy Chandler store closing

Just a heads up - got an email that the Chandler Golf Galaxy store (2915 W. Ray) is closing and everything is selling at discount.

 

Haven't been in there yet to see if there are any actual deals... but maybe worth checking out.

I know kvnhlstd went there and got some good deals, and my buddy picked up a new x forged wedge for $43. I guess all clothes and shoes are 25% off as well as golf balls and irons? I've yet to go in for a look, but when I spoke with them, they said discounts will drop as the closing date grows nearer(late oct) but they will continue to get new merch from other stores that are closing.

Went there today. All the newer stuff is gone. As were all tour balls; ProV1, Penta, Bridgestones, Callaways, Srixon all that stuff was gone as well. Shipped off I believe. But there still were some deals around. XFT wedges were 129. The new addidas shoes were all marked down. Burner TP balls were 15, shoulda got those. Good deals on bags and hats. Oh and a boat load of shafts and grips in the back of the store. AXIV core blue 59 series were 60 bucks I think? Anyway, worth having a look.

I went there today and was pretty impressed by some things, disappointed with others.

The good:
Clothing and shoes. Plenty f deals to be had, most notably from the clearance section that is further reduced. Adidas powerbands for $53. I Picked up 13 lamkin grips(the new white ones), a can of grip solvent, grip tape, and a gri tool for $43 total. All grips are 40% off. They also had TONS of shafts in the back, most notably project x shafts for like $7 a piece, plus discount. I didnt dig through them all but they had 5.5 and 6.0. 3 sets of Ping S57's for $600 new. Please, save me a set lol!

The bad:

The wedges that my buddy bought for $43 have been taken off of clearance, marked back up to full price, then discounted 25% off.



I'm planning on going back and buying some stuff when the discounts go up again because the store is PACKED with clothes and older model nike woods.

Went to GG today to pick up some more grips. They have Nike DyMO 3w for like 71% off now (55 bucks!).
