695 CB or MB forgiveness

I tink the MB looks a lot better than the CB, but they are "suppose" to be less forgiving than the CB. Then I've read that the MB gets the ball in the air quicker which also adds to the forgiveness factor. So which one is really more forgiving?

Has any compared this to J33 CBs?

CB's will be more forgiving because they have a higher moment of inertia (M.O.I.) because more weight is shifted to the perimeter.

In my opinion, the 695CB's aren't very forgiving at all, but then again, they aren't a "game improving" iron nor are they made for higher handicap golfers. I play them with Project-X 6.0's and they feel amazing. That being said, I've hit a couple off center and they aren't fogiving in that aspect.

I agree with you. The only difference was a slightly longer distance with the CBs and a harsher feeling due to weight removal from the sweet spot behind the ball. The MBs are just as "forgiving". Forgiveness is a relative term when talking cavity versus muscle backs in virtually the same size head. If the CBs were a physically larger head they then may be more forgiving. To me the advantage of the CB in the longer irons is much more weight lower to help get the ball airborne easier (but if you don't hit it near the center even that won't help) and a CB in the shorter irons just robs them of feel. Probably one of the reasons that combo/hybrid sets are popular.
