Hello,

I've just finished my first season of golf. Didn't get to play much, but really excited about getting back out there in the spring. Wish I knew about this site before I bought clubs...oh well, now I have a better idea of what to do in a few years when I change up!

Hows it going? I'm in Jersey as well. Where do you play usually? This snow is killing my range time!

I am in Mercer County here, my clubs are buried in the closet where I will not see them. I don;t think we will be playing here till End of March.

I know how you all feel. I'm sitting on a brand new 910 driver and some new Mizzy irons that are begging to be hit.

To make matters worse it looks like another big storm is coming Tuesday/Wednesday

Gotta love the dirty. Shoveling is one of the best exercises for golf...at least that is what I keep telling myself.

You guys are lucky, here in mn we're lucky to get out at the end of march. And by the way, we had 20 below weather today and not even a peep about schools closing, well some were but only in the middle of nowhere, lol.

Sorry for the late reply. Been away for a while.
Well..two rounds in so far...@ East Orange GC in Short Hills and Hopewell Valley in Mercer County. East Orange was a bit damp last Saturday but Hopewell was fine. Playing at Farmstead in Andover this weekend...I like that course. Just difficult enough to keep me interested without pulling my hair out!!! I usally play with a travelling club. Easier to get tee times and the intra club comeptition motivates me to improve. Where do you play?

Yipmaster, I work as a starter at Mercer Oaks on Saturday & Sunday afternoons.

Looks like Mercer County has some nice facilities. Maybe I will get lucky and get a tee time on a weekend (pipe dream probably). My travelling club is always interested in looking at new courses, but I'm thinking that the Mercer County public courses are usually packed?
