Hello, from Morro Bay, California

Just wanted to take a moment to say hi, and introdce myself. My name's Norm, and I'm 65 years old. I live on the beautiful central coast of California. Ten years ago I had worked my way down to a 10 hdcp, then came a back injurey, then surgery, then no golf until about 3 months ago. Against doctors advice I decided to start playing again - I mean what the heck, I'm 65 - might as well enjoy myself, right? One thing I learned right away, this golf thing is NOT like riding a bike. You don't just get back on with the same skill level you had before. But, I'm having fun, and while I'll probably never be a 10 hdcp again, I do have visions of a 15-18. Anyway, great site youve put together here, keep up the good work.

Glad you're back to the game. Though I live up in Central Oregon I've been down your way several times and have had the chance to play some golf in Central Coast California.....wish I lived there.....

Don't sell yourself short about making it back to your 10 hcp. There have been some awesome advances in equipment the last 5 years or so, so if its been a while since you have been fitted, take some time and see what a good fitter can do for you.....you might be amazed.
