Golf Road Trip

Heading from Northern Illinois and stopping at Blue Top Ridge for 18 on July 7th. Then a little time at the Casino. Drive to The Harvester that night and wake up and play 36 there. From there we will head directly to The Prairie Club for the weekend. Unlimited golf on the Dunes course Saturday and unlimited golf on the Pines Course on Sunday. Can't wait. Praying for good weather. I've read alot of reviews on the Harvester, but i was looking for some thoughts on BTR and the Prairie Club.

 

PS If anyone wanted to invite us to play Sand Hills, we would make time :) Theres only 3 of us

Sweet!!! I have been dying to go to the PC and think I will make the trip this summer. Playing the harvester in a couple of weeks and I have played it once before. Well taken care of in a nice location. Very nice course but a few holes feel a little tricked up.

I will also make my way up to BTR one day, so many places to play!

Let us know how the PC is and have fun!

I'm a PGA Apprentice at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside. I'm obviously biased but I absolutely love the course. It's long (playing over 7500 from the tips) and has many bunkers. It was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 2007. We had 4 new holes opened this year to replace 4 located by the Iowa River that had been prone to flooding. Overall the course is in great condition with the greens rolling some of the best i've seen in the 3 years I've been there. I hope your enjoy your trip!

I have to get down to Blue Top Ridge sometime also......I live in CR and have yet to play it.
