FYI Guys from Indianapolis...they are on the Westside of Indy. Just drove by and their sign said they were Going Out of Business...Sad to see them go...

Saw this happening the moment their driving range nets fell down in the ice storm last winter

The car dealer next door aggressively wants the building and land to turn it into room for more used cars.

Looks like he got his way.

The manager of the place is a great guy... feel bad for him but would imagine he can catch on doing something else.

The problem was their next door neighbor. You won't believe this GolfWRX fans. Golf Headquarters opened 11 years ago in its current location - a location that had been a range from the early 1960s! Several months later Andy Mohr opens a Ford dealership. Andy Mohr proceeds to sue Golf Headquarters three times for the occasional ball that crossed the massive nets. Mohr built next to a driving range!!! As we all know, if you live on a golf course, you can't sue the golf course when a ball hits your house (well, you can probably sue, but nobody has ever won).

Mohr's first two lawsuits were thrown out, but finally the last one had been going on 2 1/2 years. Golf Headquarters just couldn't afford the legal fees anymore. When the nets fell, GH offered to rebuild the nets 20 feet higher - as high as you can go with wood polls. Mohr turned down the offer. Apparently he wants the land to expand his dealership. As if the handful of dealerships he has around town don't have enough space.

And before you ask, under Indiana law Golf Headquarters wasn't allowed to recoup any legal fees when the first two lawsuits were thrown out. Nor is Golf Headquarters allowed to file a nuisance lawsuit against Mohr for wasting their time.
