Custom Fittings in West TN

Hey guys, quick question here. I live in a fairly rural area of West TN and wanted to know where I can get an unbiased, thorough custom fitting from someone other than a rep of a company in my remote area. I realize that I can attend various demo days, but my experience with that was not a good one (rep trying to upsell to the most expensive shafts, high pressure, etc.). I would rather go somewhere that I can hit multiple clubs/shafts, see the numbers on all of those, and decide based on that what the correct club is for my game.

 

I have tried this once, but I have a fairly decent swing speed (from 112-115 with driver when I was fitted last) and the place that I visited only had one extra stiff shaft. It didn't fit into any of the other heads (it was stock in a Cobra S3 driver, I believe) which basically meant I got an idea of which driver heads I liked but was left to fend for myself as far as shaft choice went. As I've learned, shaft choice can make a huge difference in the performance of the club so naturally I would like be able to find a head/shaft combo that works well for me by experimenting with different ones.

 

Anyone have any ideas of where I can get that done in the general west TN area? If it helps, I am about equal distance from Memphis or Nashville and can go either way as long as I am confident I will be getting a thorough fitting.

You should check out Custom Golf in Jackson TN. Great little shop there that carries all the major brands. Cally, Titleist, Cleveland, Mizuno, Adams

I live near there and am sorry to say that it is going out of business. I'm surprised it lasted this long. Johnny's a great guy and had a great selection though.

I like Johnny a lot, but he doesn't have a launch monitor and the assortment of shafts that I am looking for unfortunately. Had him do a lot for me (regripping, changing iron loft/lie, etc.) but for this fitting I need more of a selection of shafts and an accurate launch monitor so that I can see what is working for me and what is not. Spending $300-$400 on a driver is not something I take lightly.
