trying to become a golf nerd in boise

I'm new here and heres my story. I'm hopelessly addicted to this game. Two years ago at the age of 35 I bought a house on a course and started playing with a goal of becoming a 15 handicap. I played probably 5 times my entire life then started swinging everyday multiple times a day. I started making good contact and thought I was shooting in the 90's, until I played in a tournament and learned the rules. After suffering through that 2 day disaster for a combined score of 235, I had to set new goals. My goal now and has been since July of last year is to break 90. Best score so far 92 on my home course 120 slope with major OB consequences. I am now taking lessons and have been shooting over 100 and high 90's again.

 

Really wish I would have just got hooked on coke it would have been a lot easier and cheaper.

 

Any other Wrx'ers ever want to hook up for a round let me know cuz I will be playing that day I'm sure.

broke 90 today @ Riverbirch golf course in Star Id. Chipped in on 18 for a bogey and a 89. Par 72 6500 yrd course cr rating 69.7 slope111 from the blue. It's a newer wide open course with hardly any mature trees. Really windy but never went OB and only 1 three putt.

Worst part of my game was my flop shots hit 4 fat other that nothing spectacular just never got in trouble.
