Release looks better. I would say concentrate on that right knee in your backswing. Check your backswing, the hips and knees are sliding back. That little sway takes more timing to get on the ball clean time after time and could become inconsistent; from a.theoretical point of view. Golf is all rythum and timing for the most part anyway.

If it were my swing, i.would say rotate staying over the ball; look at your right knee; dont let it go back over your foot. Feel the weight on the inside of your foot, not the outside. It will restrict your turn making you will feel like it a shorter backswing, but keep rotating with a longer finish.
A tight rotation through the ball will get you better compression. position your head over the ball and back slightly with woods. A new move will always feel all wrong until you see it produce. Once you start flushing the ball with a new move will it start reinforcing that move.

if your a visual learner-here is a video of sam snead to show what i mean about staying over the ball. its pretty standard practice to transfer your weight from right to left on the downswing. In contrast, you could take a swing like the stack and tilt for example- which wants you to keep majority of your weight staying in the front leg even on the backswing. what this swing does is focus on good impact position, so they keep you over the ball. there are some aspects about the swing that i personally dont like; such as i wanna feel more in the back leg pushing into the left side. but again this swing use rotation and release and is focused on impact position.

hogan is considered the father of the modern golf swing and arguably the best ball striker ever. the only time he ever beat sam snead was an exhibition match. heres sam sneads move.

With sam snead you can see he stays over the ball, but he uses the momentum of his back swing to load the right leg; with out any slide back; pure rotation. take a look at the at the 2 minute mark in this video, and look at his weight distribution. then look at the 2 min 50 sec mark, and see the right forearm and elbow position in the downswing. i love this video. it shows what a great golfswing should feel like.
