you're swinging too hard..

60* wedges should never be swung with a full swing as they are CONTROL clubs..

calculate your average distance with a normal swing and go from there..

remember that for the higher-lofted wedges swinging harder will NOT make them go farther---just HIGHER..

Not an expert, but you have a big lateral load/slide backwards. This can lead to inconsistencies and fat/thin shots.

Ya. If you put your mouse on your left hip when you start the swing, as you load back, a large gap is created between the mouse and your hip. If you can get rid of this lateral slide it will help you hit the ball more consistently.

I just have to say.. you look like Gumby trying to hit the ball. ok... all jokes aside...

Instead of rotating your hips.. you dance with knees to make a back swing..

Also, i would like to add... you have a reverse spine tilt. This is why your weight is on your back foot at impact...

Fix the spine angle or your back is going to scream ouch...

Your knee sway and hips sliding on the back swing makes coming back to impact position inconsistant. Lateral slide is ok but only some during the downswing. Never while taking the club back. Your head and hips should stay over the ball and rotate stationary on the backswing. This fixed position creates consistancy to getting on the ball clean. Now; a little slide forward is ok. Hogan slid quite a.bit while getting into the front pivot leg.

I also play my wedges in the middle of my stance or a ball back of my mid irons. Some time i will also slide a.bit forward with wedges only; as it helps me to insure good downward compression and to get on the ball before the ground. Deep divots with wedges are good thing, as long as your getting the ball first on the way down.

When i said slide forwrd; i meant only the hips as to clear them to create upperbody coil. What you dont want is to much slide with your knees.
The only great to have some serious knee movement was byron nelson. I beleive it was because he strived to keep the club head square as long as he could through impact instead of the standard closing clubhead. So his knees slid through impact and then he kinda popped up. They say he was one of the greatest shot makers of his time. Mr consistancy. He still holds the record for most consecutive tour wins of 11. And most consecutive top ten finshes of 63. And second to tiger, in most consecutive cuts made; at 113. But in his day u had to make top 20; to make a cut to get in the money.
