Need a suggestion.

Looking for a player's cavity... After several years with my MP32's I've decided it's time for something with a touch more forgiveness.

 

Someone school me... Give me a good head that is forged and forgiving with minimal offset... They are gonna go in some ProjX 6.0's if that makes a difference. I also play 2* upright and 1/2-3/4 long, again if that makes a difference! Lookin for something I can pick up for around 100-150 bucks...don't wanna overspend for an experiment!

P.S. No TM or Ping. I can't stand the overall shape of Pings...they look odd to me. And no TM cause I don't wanna overpay...everyone is pretty proud of R9's still.

The perfect head you are describing would be the Wishon 560MC. You may be able to find a set used on Ebay or on a golf forum somewhere. You can't buy new from Wishon unless you are a approved builder.

Golfworks MTF or MO5 (same head different cavity badge) would be another good one.

Older set of ben hogan edge forged cavity irons I game them still good feel can be had for around 80 on the bay

Original adams idea pro forged cavity back irons are great and can be found on eBay for the price you're listing. Mine continue to find their way back into the bag.

Good call on the ke4's- I had a set when I first got back into golf after college and played them for a few years- great clubs. Occasionally still take them on the first buddy trip of the year each spring since the winter rust still hangs on the swing- forgiving and look nice too.

I just made the change 2 months ago from my MP-32's (DG X100, +1/2" 1* flat) I got a set of Callaway X-Forged 2013's with standard L/L/L with Project X PXI 5.5's, now i swing a little slower than i used to when i got the 32's which is why i went down a bit in the flex but the head feel is great.

I love to look of the Callaway's, overall maybe a smidge less 'aggressive' than the 32's but nothing to make me not feel confident. I'd really suggest trying these out esp since you can get a good deal on price. I gained about 5 yds on my long irons and put a little more height on all the clubs. Hope that helps!
