the commentator (either tim rosaforte or andrew magee) on the golf channal pregame show was talking about tiger playing a hole that over looks the beach...and he said, and i quote...

"right along the ocean, number four...what a beautiful hole...you can look over the edge, you can see some NAKED GAY GUYS runnin down on ?flats?...but ahhh he's not doing that...he's making birdies"

I didn't see it, but I like posing hypothetical questions:

 

*What if the announcer saw the naked guys, for example, kissing? Should he be fired for making a factual statement?

*Was the statement so inherently inappropriate for a golf program that it shouldn't matter?

*What if he had said "nude homosexual gentlemen" instead of "naked gay guys"?

*What if the announcer is gay?
