JUST GOT MY NEW G5 IRONS AND I LOVE 'EM !!!
THEY'RE VERY SOLID FEELING,SUPER EASY TO HIT,AND HAVE A NICE SOUND AT IMPACT. MUCH MORE ALIVE THAN THE G2'S.
THE ONLY BUMMER IS THE VISUAL DISTRACTION OF SEEING SOME OF THE SOLE ON THE LONG IRONS AT ADDRESS(THEY LOOK LIKE A HYBRID).THEY HIT SO WELL THOUGH,MAYBE I CAN LEARN TO LIVE WITH 'EM.

I just got a set of G2's and like them, are the G5's that much better?

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a new set of irons and I have been looking at the Pings and the Mizuno. I jsut can't make up my mind. All the responses for both sets are all so positive. I guess I'm just going to have to go and hit some and make up my own mind or just buy both sets and have one as a back up :clapping::)

I just got a set of G2 Irons this summer, and really like the way the work. Glad to see you like the next evolution of PING irons

1st post here for me, but I thought I'd chime in. I've been playing X-Tours and are wonderful in performance and in my eye looks. However, after hitting G2's I decided to jump on the Ping band wagon. I purchased the G5's and they are very similar in feel and performance compared to the G2's. I'll stick with the G5's based on early rounds but I may use my X-Tours and make a trade for the Mizuno MX-900 irons, awesome feeling and looking irons. The MX-900 feel like other Mizuno forgings but are extremely easy to hit, and as said look spectacular.
