Eyeline Putting Mirror Setup

So I have a putting mirror and thought I saw someone say you should have your eyes between the center black line and the top red line? I always thought it should be between the bottom red line and the middle black line. However, it feels so unnatural to have my eyes so far inside the ball. I set up and my eyes are always above the center line. I just don’t think it is right but it’s most comfortable. I guess the question is, is it ok to have your eyes above the center black line? Thanks!

I don't think that is the right way, but FWIW I also keep my eyes slightly above the center line. Eyeline claims it should be on the line, but that some pros actually are slightly below center.

all depends on the individual, there is an eye perception test you can do by lining up balls in a line 3ft apart, take your stance and adjust your setup position until they all appear to be in a straight line.

For me that puts my eyes right around the hosel of the putter. I believe Scotty Cameron says this is where the eyes should be.

Sorry for resurrectioning an old thread, but didn’t want to start a new one. I understand that the eyes vertically speaking should be even on the center line. But what about horizontally? Should my eyes be visible in the mirror? Shouldn’t they be directly over the ball, which makes the front eye in front of the mirror?
