Golf Buddy WT5 Wont find courses

Bought GB WT5 last season, it worked great until about a week ago. I have reset & also emergency rebooted. The watch charges normally & finds the satellite setting the time... but it wont find a golf course. Tried updating but received error messages even after dl'ing drivers etc..

Anyone have this problem? How do I resolve these issues. Called tech support, they havent had the courtesy to help with these issues.

    Had the same issue. Here is the fix I found:

    Connect the WT5 to your PC

    Right click on start and select "open windows explorer"

    On the left side of the new window, select "computer"

    On the right side of the new window, right click on your WT5 and select "properties"

    Select Tools

    Run chkdsk on those files and select automatic fix.

    Go to golfbuddy website and download GB3 manager.

    If you can sync to the manager program, you can reload or update the firmware and all the course information.

    Once the files are good, it should be able to lock satellites to a course loaded on the WT5.
