Bettinardi compared to C&L

I have Bett DASS and (2) Cameron Tour issued putters and a C&L in my bag.....for me, much better feel and it performs better.....good luck!

Only Betti I've tried was BB1 with insert and didn't care for the feel and it was too light to my liking. C&L Is pretty heavy at 370g and I love it!!!

If you're looking for an Anser style then you're not going to go wrong with Bettinardi, Byron or C&L. To me the blade length on the C&L was a bit shorter than I prefer, but you can't argue with the feel. I would put my carbon C&L up against any putter in that regard. My Byron 007 though is the best balanced putter I've ever used and the look at address is my favorite of any putter I've ever tried. My Bettinardi SB2 (bb18ish) is in the bag for a reason... I make putts with it (fitted by Ben at Studio B). And let me throw out one more. The TP Mills Tradition 2 is a great putter with a solid feel from any spot on the face and seems to have almost no drop in distance on off center hits. I know this isn't much help, but I guess the one thing I would say is that you're really looking at a no lose decision from all of these guys.

Steve, Thank you for the insight on all of the putters. I like your thoughts on the C&L and the Betti. I will say I look forward to trying a C&L and going to Studio B. I am going to get fitted by Ben in the middle of March. I cannot say enough about the customer service provided by Lee, Chip, Ben, Jimmy and Nick. I have putted with a Byron 007 and had a very good experience with Steve. The one I have not never putted with is a TP Mills.

Bend of the River, Thank you for sharing pictures of your C&L's. I love the clean and elegant look of them. What finish are they?

Does anyone know if you can get the paint fill changed while at Studio B?

bett was a bb8 dass and both camerons were 009 in a black ox like finish as well as oil can..........i do not own them any longer on account of the cl which is a cl1 model though i have a cl2 on the way. all good putters but i couldnt put the cl down on account of the superior feel. looks of the cl are as good as a cameron and better than the bett and feel is superior - of course this is subjective and my opinion only.

Thank you for the further insight on your experiences. I have already ditched all of my camerons after getting a Bettinardi C02. Much better feel and roll. I am currently waiting on a CL1 demo from Lee.
