Callaway GBB 454 Titanium

I put my Titleist 917D2 and my Ping G400 LST on the shelf and went back to my 14-year old GBB Ti 454 with Aldila NV X-85 shaft. It was a great move. Okay maybe the sweet spot isnt quite as big as on the newer models, but its absolutely amazing how far and straight the GBB 454 hits these new low-spin multi-layer balls. I may never hit anything else.

Man, that GBB is a great driver. I still have mine. Doesn't work for me so much anymore, as I bought the HL version for fighting a slice back then. (Now fighting a hook...ahhh, progress). I had to put it in play a couple of years ago when my driver shaft broke, and couldn't believe how good it was. Ball seems to hang in the air forever.

Doing the same thing this week. Got a diamana d+ limited of Ebay and put it in my 910d2. Hit it very straight at the range yesterday. G400 lst taking a break for a bit.
