Im from niagara on the lake/niagara falls ontario and i read about the kiwi tour sometimes. Whats the competition like on there. I play the local Niagara District Tour, the one kid that played on that tour won the Ont. Jr. this year so weve got some good golfers up this way.

i only played 2 events this year

I played at NOTL in the Champion of Champions 2 years ago for the junior division.

 

I go to school with alot of guys from the NDJGA Tour, Andrew Egeter, Mike Mottola, etc.

I played in that Champion of Champions...i was only 14 though and I played horrible ended up with an 80. I think i may have played with you...no joke. :drinks:

umm not sure about the hat lol? but i do remember i played with a young kid in the qualifier in the rain in Dunnville (shot 76) and the same guy in the championship thingy.

I play on CJGA, GAO, RCGA... I just moved to niagara this spring so ill probably be playing on the Niagara District Tour to check it out...

I'm from Belle River ON (near Windsor and Tecumseh, in the southwest of ON) and I play local tournaments, the Meijer Tour (in Michigan) and next year hopefully the Burger King Tour. I have enough game to qualify for the tour, but the qualifier is at a sh*tty course with concrete greens in terrible condition, so no one ever shoots low, me included; this year I shot an amazing 89! I felt like breaking my clubs after that display, but since the course was ion such crappy condition, the dcutline was 84, when it's usually 80-81 . It's too bad because it's a great tour.

Ditty, last year the cut was 79, and it is easy to go low there. After 10 holes last year I was -4 and shot 70 to medalist. Lakewood is not sh**ty at all, last year the greens were rolling great and I had to walk the course as a marshall and the greens looked good to me.

Last year the course was good; I remember I played last year, didn't play well and didn't make the cut. This year though, nothing was staying on the greens. I wasn't the only one who thought that either. My group, and the couple groups ahead and behind me said the same thing; the greens were crap, and nothing was staying on them.

 

The course was fine, the greens weren't. I didn't read over what I posted, I didn't mean to say the course was bad, it's just the greens that were. And this year there weren't many low scores at all. I think Adam Petrasovic shot even, but other than that, the rest were mostly mid-high 70's, and a lot in the 80s. The cut was 84 this year; I don't think the quality of play got 5 shots worse, I think it had something to do with the conditions.

 

If you were a marshall, that means you have exempt status this year right? Good luck this year on the tour. By the way, have you ever won an event on BK? It's kinda cool, I had no idea there was anyone from around my area that posted here.
