Miura Retiring the TBs???

I was just looking around on the Miura website and under the review section there is a new review of the MB-001 by some guy and in the article he states that "Miura is retiring it's Tournament Blade...."

I'd post the link but that's way too much technology for me.

Maybe Miura should keep the TB and retire the KJ Choi Limited Edition(s) - Considering he's been known to leave a tournament site and buy a set of whatevers off the rack at K-Mart.

If anyone cares it's upto 8 degrees with a windchill of 3....that means several months till golf season starts.

Confirmed...they will be phased out as the remaining stock is used up.....probably still available on special order if wanted.

It's a great review, makes you appreciate the craftsmanship all the more! There were 300 sets of the KJ Choi line, so maybe they'll eventually be sold.

I'm willing to wager that Miura has a healthy inventory of the KJs in a closet somewhere....

Yeah. Probably didn't help the marketing department when KJ put them into play for a pro-am and then switched to.....everything else.

They were packed in a cool box.

Not sure if this question is on topic or not, but in regards to the tournament blades: I have an offer to purchase new heads (in black) 3-PW (8 heads) for $1,200 and was wondering if that was a good price. I don't know the going rate on those so any feedback would be appreciated... Especially now that this model will be retired - not sure if that does anything to the value.

Sorry if this was a bit off topic.

Less than $200 per head is a good deal.
