I ended up shafting this beautiful head with a shaft I had for now. An Aldila Aura Gold. I may change that later on.

It might be abit premature to do a review, as I played today for the first time, and it's only my second round. The weather here in the Northeast is still quite cold. Played today in sub 40 degree weather, on soft conditions. Not a whole lot of roll out.

Bearing all that in mind, combined with a little Winter swing rust, I really loved this driver. It's true what you read about JDM stuff. The fit and finish is pristine. Even after a round, you couldn't tell it had been hit. The black paint job as really georgeous.

The sound at impact is perfect. Not too muted and not mettalic. It's really just perfect, and my playing partners commented on the sound as well.

This driver is very easy to hit straight. With a good swing it stays right on line.

I bought the 10.5 head, and I would say it flies very true. I hit it on the launch I'm looking for. If it was adjustable, I wouldn't touch it.

I had a bit of trouble hitting pulls with it. Not really sure at this point, if I'm coming over it, as I'm not doing it with other clubs. I think the lie angle is too upright. That might be the problem. If I lay the club open at address, it seems to solve the problem. That doesn't really bother me either, as I like to do that anyway.

Distance: Since this is the ultimate measuring stick for this type of club, considering that it's non-conforming. It's really too soon to tell. I did hit about 3 drives that I really felt I screwed. They were all out there really good, but I didn't seem like I was 20yds. past my usual though. I'll need to wait until some really warm weather hits, and I can get some layers off as well. I really feel like I'm going to gain some yards with this though. If I don't end up gaining any yardage, and non-conforming is a myth, I'm still quite happy to keep the driver in the bag. I'm so impressed with everything else about this club, that it wouldn't bother me as much if I don't get it out there any further.

I'll update this review in the coming weeks, for now I'll just say, it's better than any U.S driver I've played. I would highly recommend this driver to anyone.

Well, there hasn't been any replies to my review, but I've had plenty of views, so I figured it was time to do an update on this driver review.

I've played about 6 rounds now, so I should be able to give a more accurate review. Although, the weather here in the Northeast, is still way behind. Haven't played in anything over 50 degrees.

My early swing flaws are starting to smooth out. The dead pull/hook I've been struggling with was just a result of swing mechanics, plus several layers of clothing. The cold temps. didn't help at all, as I was always feeling stiff.

I've now been able to just square the driver up and go. I've hit some really good drives with this now. I still can't tell about yardage, but I know how I usually compare to my playing partners, and I've gained quite abit on them.

The reiterate from my initial review. What they say about JDM is absolutely true in my mind. This driver is super solid. A beautiful combination of sound and feel. After 6 rounds you still can't tell that it's been hit.

I was going to swap out the shaft for an ultralite, but I'm not sure what that would do, and while the Aldila Aura Gold was just an afterthought, I think it's working out fine for me. Not going to worry about the extra 10 grams.

That's about it, I just highly recommend this driver. I wish I could get the opportunity to try some other JDM stuff. It would be neat to compare, but they're pretty hard to come by.
