Sweet, jdub. Have a great time. I got to go to a practice round last year and it was everything I thought it would be and more. That place is like heaven. Everything from the course conditions to the food lines at the concessions stands are run like a well oiled machine. My only tip would be to go to the merchandise tent/building early. When I went by early in the day, it was almost empty, later i nthe day there was a 45 minute line to get in :tongue:

Congratulations, there something extra special about going to an actual tournament day. I went to last years Monday practice round and it was all I ever heard it was, the cleanest, greenest place on earth.

The thing I realized that was amazing once we got there was the number of people who were there just like me, FOR A PRACTICE ROUND. Amazing place.

I too would agree you should get the souvenirs out of the way early. It's hard to do because you want to go straight to the course but there are check stands so you don't have to carry your stuff around all day. I stood in that 45 minute line late on Monday last year and you couldn't move around once you got in. Didn't stop the 4 of us from dropping some serious coin in about an hour of shopping

Just a follow up, I really didn't want to carry the stuff I bought all day, so right outside the exit from the souvi shack was a shipping service. I thought that it would be an arm and a leg to have the stuff shipped back to Pittsburgh, but for a large box of stuff (four shirts, flags, ball markers, bag tags etc,) it was something like $25. IMO a great deal.
