Upper body lunge? Trying to get lower body more involved instead of upper body.

Hey all,

 

Currently playing to a 3-4 at the moment. Really good long game off the tee, but shorter irons and wedges really inconsistent. Everytime I see my swing on video, its frustrating because contact will feel ok, but my lower body is close to static while the upper body seems to drive the whole downswing. Shoulders face way open at impact, and the hands immediately flip post-impact.

 

Really want to get the upper body out of the way and let the lower body take over.

lack of hip rotation going down,little right sided spine bend and a disconnection of the arms from your torso in the impact zone

suggestions
1.toe out your left foot 1/4 turn towards the target.This will facilitate rotation and extension going down

try to imitate the movements in the first video.The idea is o focus only on rotation thru to your finish
You need to increase your "o" factor(hip tilt) by impact.
